    3D PRINT TOO is a new initiative/attempt to use 3D-printing to contribute to sexual education and to prevent sexual harassment through a series of workshops by and for the local community of Université Paris-Saclay.

    Fab Academy is the training everyone interested in Design and Digital Fabrication should take. Taught Globally by Pr Neil Gershenfeld (MIT), Mentored and Instructed by the Fablab UPSaclay team. Everything you need to know to start embracing the 4th Industrial Revolution.

    Fabricademy

    Fabricademy is the training you should take if you are into Fashion Design and still can’t cope with the negative impacts of the Fashion Industry on the Environment. By Anastasia Pistofidou (Fab Lab Barcelona) and Cecilia Raspanti (Waag), with Fablab UPSaclay’s Team.

    Arts are what make sens for us. S.T.E.A.M is part of our true nature. Join us for the Creartathon or for Arts-Residencies. And if you are organized enough and if your project is planned well in advance you can place us an order for its Design and/or Fabrication.

    Not at ease with the way Markets rule your life ? Want to try the Commons ? This is the right place. We have created a space where sharing is a rule. But we want you to go further and emancipate from values that ruin relashionships and collaboration between people.

    Not for Products and Marketing. We Design for Open Source Hardware because Designers have been working for the Markets only for too long. What ever we do, we post on line so others can remake, re-arrange, re-share, etc. Join us if you want to do the same.

    Romain Di Vozzo

    Romain Di Vozzo

    Director/Founder

    Romain Di Vozzo is the Director of FABLAB UPSACLAY, the Project Manager for Fablabs at Université Paris-Saclay, a Mentor of the Global Fablab Network and a former student of SPEAP - the Experimental Master in Arts and Politics created by philosopher Bruno Latour at SciencesPo Paris. Trained as both an artist and as a Digital Fabrication Guru (Fab Academy Diploma 2012), Romain has dedicated 20 years of his life to Fine Arts before starting to explore new ways of bringing publics to empower themselves through Design and Digital Fabrication Technics. He also holds a diploma in Bio Design (Bio Academy 2015) and in Fashion Design (Fabricademy 2019). Romain is also an advocate for Distributed Design and Circular Fabrication as possible ways to mitigate Environmental Issues. Among other art projects of his own exhibited in places like the MIT Short Film festival (Holbach), Romain designed the incubator for Pierre Huyghe installation Living Canver Variator exhibited at Le Palais de Tokyo in 2016.
